I have in my hands two boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold."
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes,
Both my joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black, I wanted to find out why, And I saw, in
the base of the box, a hole, Which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled a gentle smile and said,
"My child, they're all here with me."
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
Why the gold and the black with the hole?
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings, The black is for you
to let go." We should consider all of our friends and family a blessing.

Meaningless Meaningless!!!
Tonight at 20/20 we discussed the book Ecclesiastes and the topic of meaningless. What is meaningless to you? Maybe it's the simple things like laundry or sweeping the garage floor. Maybe school is meaningless for you. So often we get caught up in this physical world that we forget why we are really in existence. Our lives have become ruled by schedules and planners and date books. How can you really plan something so far in advance? You don't know when the Lord may call you home (that is if you have received him as your Savior). Sometimes earthly hope is completely meaningless to me. All things under heaven are going to pass away. Pain, heartache, suffering, relationships, everything is going to be wiped away. Why get your hopes up for something that last only for a moment? Hoping that one day I will stand infront of my Lord and I will kiss the feet of the man who paid the price for ME to save me from eternal death, and I will live with him forever, that is putting your hope in something meaningful.

A case of the sometimers
So Lor forgot that she had a thing called a blog, but now she remembers thanks to some helpful friends.:) Well hmm this week I am busing writing another one of my essays. It's very important to me to do extremely well on these essays because it is a course for my major. For about two years now I have had pain in my right shoulder, usually aggravated most when playing volleyball or anything like that and well I finally decided to get it checked out. This thursday the 18th it is getting more checked out with an arthogram and an MRI. Im not too siked about the MRI because my whole body has to go in the machine! I don't think I am clasterphobic but then again I have never been in a situation really that I would feel that way. Plus seeing the ones in teh movies just doesn't look like something I would want to be inside of! Oh well maybe they could just blind fold me then I wouldn't be able to see and that would be better than seeing that i can't get out. Sorry about my sometimers disease. Lets hope it doesn't turn into alzhiemers anytime soon!!!!
